Psychotic episode/hallucination

I had a psychotic episode or I was hallucinating for the first time ever. Has anyone had this happen as a side effect to Wellbutrin, Abilify, Hydrocodone, Cymbalta, Adderall, Pantoprazole, Lyrica or Morphine ER?

This is a long list of medications to ask about! Which one do you think might be causing your hallucinations? My advice would be to have an urgent talk with your doctor as he/she needs to know what you are experiencing and may need to withdraw some of your meds if they are causing serious adverse reactions.

Thank you. I'll definitely be talking to a doctor about it. Not sure which medication it could be... Those symptoms don't seem to be a side effect of any of my meds but what do I know....

I can’t believe your on so many meds!? No offence but how do you function? I’ve had psychotic episodes before but not related to medication just from my bipolar condition. I used to say this is not real, this will pass, over and over again. Would help in parts and would quieten my head down for abit. I would definitely try and wean yourself off some of those meds with the help of your doctor though. If your getting psychotic episodes on medications then there’s something not right with what your taking. X

Ridiculous isn't it? And the doctors expect me to function normally, work and take care of my kids normally. I'll definitely talk to my new PCP about this. I figured it was a medicine interaction. I have depression, anxiety, and adhd but never had anything like that happen before. Thanks for replying!

Yes definitely try and push for answers as to why these episodes are happening. It took trial and error to get my meds right and I now just take lithium for my bipolar. I hope you find the answers you need and these horrid episodes sod off! ❤️

Have you been able to talk with your doctor? Adderall can produce psychotic symptoms but I think that would only happen at high doses. I have heard Wellbutrin can increase the effects of Adderall so maybe that's a possibility. I hope your able to get some help from your doctor soon or maybe get a second opinion.
