Hi Terry.

I've just seen your post. I've never had ECT treatment, but i've just seen this link to other people talking about ECT. I wonder if you might find someone in your similar shoes there who you maybe you could chat with.

I'm really sorry to hear about what's happened to you and the pain you're in now.

I really hope your pain does go.

Have you been to your GP, have they been of any help? Suggest anything? Or if anything provide stronger painkiller.

Have you looked into any alternative therapies which might help relieve your pain?

Becky

Thank you for your reply Becky I have spoken to my gp but they don’t seem concerned they have given me two different pain killers but they did nothing to be honest , I would like to try alternatives but it’s a problem with cost so that’s not a option for me at the moment but I will look at the link

Hi Terry. Yes i feel for you, and totally understand about wanting to try alternative solutions. I know it can be expensive to go that way.

Can you try a different GP, or go back and say they don't work?

Or talk with a pharmacist, they are there to help you, and advise you and have great knowledge about medicines. You can even ask for a private free consultation at the pharmacy.

Regards

Becky
