Being Alone

Before I used to be afraid of being alone. Now, I’m afraid of having the wrong people as company. I think it is very unhealthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person. You must want to spend the rest of your life with yourself first.

The person who tried to keep everyone happy often ends up feeling the loneliest. Some steps need to be taken alone. It’s the only way to really figure out where you need to go and who you need to be.

If you want to be strong, learn to enjoy being alone, my soul is at peace in the silence. Enjoy your time alone, you will learn to be happy without seeking validation.

Be alone. Get inside your mind. Figure things out. Grow. Don’t ruin other people’s happiness just because you can’t find your own. Don’t be scared to walk alone. Don’t be scared to like it.

My Mania

I like my own company, generally I go into our study, for a time just to relax and look at my picture books. That can set me up for the night. Generally though we all like each others company so some nights we spend time together Hazel does puzzle books and I just look through my picture books, and index while Pax hides underneath the office table and every now and then He asks us to play with His toys. Like He is doing now.

The study and library are in the centre of the cottage and no-one can see or hear us. it is a really quiet area. It is also at the back of the house so we get no road or tractor noises. It is like an old Victorian room with a couple of rocking chairs and stools in. It is our place to chill out I suppose
