I wish I had insurance :(

I used to be on meds and it helped so much. But with no insurance I'm off them and things are not good. All I want to do is lay in bed. I have had so much happen in my life the last 2 years and things just keep getting worse. I don't even feel like getting into it...I make a good salary so don't qualify for help with insurance, but they don't always know the full story behind everyone's life and sometimes people with a decent salary need help. Insurance is in the high $400s, but put that on top of your other bills, and it doesn't always work out. I'm really getting so close to the breaking point, but apparently the state doesn't care if there's one less person around.

If you are in the United States you can go to a free clinic and some urgent cares. As far as pharmacies are concerned most will work with you if they know you have no insurance .You need to be a little more pro active. A few phone calls will tell you what you need to know. Pam

I have been in that position many times. I was able to work with my Dr, and he was able to prescribe a generic form of what I needed ( Prozac) and the pharmacy gives a discount for those with no insurance. So, it costs me $20 a month to feel ok. Explain your situation to your Dr. and I'm sure they will help you out.

Hugs to you!
