never forget where you’ve been , and never lose sight of where your going . it’s not about being perfect , it’s about the effort . it will hurt and take time , will require dedication, sacrifice, and push your self to the max . ive been through a feeding tube for 4 yrs , switching sides of my nose each week . ive been through my father leaving me when i was little but old enough to remember . i’ve been through an eat disorder and overcome it . ive been lock down units for weeks at a time because i didn’t think i was good enough . things can take tolls on you after so long , and nobody deserves that . i feel i’ve been the worst me i can possibly be lately and it’s upsetting . pill taking and cutting . i have looked death in the face and ill admit that i didn’t like it , i was scared . my life hasn’t been everything people make it out to be , i get depressed a lot and anxious and sometimes feel like i shouldn’t even be here anymore but because i was strong , i am here , and i’m proud to tell everyone i am alive ! i’m like every human , i bleed , i breath , i live and love . i have one thing to say and that is , if i wasn’t here would anyone care ? would anyone lose sleep ? maybe , maybe not ... for the time being though i plan to be here .

Hi KW41716, You are very brave and courageous to have gone through so much in your life, and more to the point even braver to be so determined perhaps to try and make your life better now than it has been in the past for you. Stay strong because you like everyone is a valuable and worthwhile person. Each one of us has something to give to someone else and perhaps through your own individual suffering, you have given strength to others in similar situations to you. I hope you have friends that you can talk to about how you are feeling. Also hope that you are getting good support from your health professional team. Always let them know if you are struggling more days than other days. I am so sorry to read also that you have a nasal tube in situ for feeding, I hope in time this may be able to be removed for you. Also do take a look at the pinned posts to the right of your screen, where under crisis support you may find some helpful information for you for support. And if you are living in the UK, you can always contact the Samaritans for support and someone to talk to when you are feeling anxious and low. They are open 24 hours every day of the year,

Freephone 116 123

samaritans .org

email jo@samaritans.org

or visit them at your local branch

Also Anxiety UK run a helpline on weekdays between 9-30 - 5-30 pm , telephone

08444 775 774

Look after yourself and please let us know how you are getting along, with kind regards and very best wishes to you.....
