I don't know where to go for help!

Hi, I need advice asap as I just don't know what to do. My family's life is a mess and has fallen apart, but tonight it got the worst its ever been. I worried about how much I can write on here as i'm not sure who can see it!! It can't wait until Monday but where would be open for support or advice on a Saturday!.

Hi there,pretty worried bout ur post as it sounds desperate. Where do u live ?? Are u on meds ?? Things can't get any worse for u by the desperation n fear . U also said u didn't kno how much u cud say here. I'm just new also n I had abreakdown last Fri, I've suffered frm mental health issues since I was 9 n I'm now 53 nearly 54. Please tell me wats wrong so we can work it out ? Do u not have anyone u can talk to perhaps a friend,why don't u go n stay somewhere else over w/end n head to Drs 1st thing Mon Morn. Call the Samaritans if u need to hear a caring understanding voice. They may have a crisis number u can call. Sorry I can't help physically bur hope this post helps. if you are worried about people reading it you can set your posts to private so that only people in the community can see it rather than it being found on the open internet. What support do you need? is it for you or your family? are you looking for crisis MH support or advice about other areas such as debt / family breakdown etc? If you are in the UK and after MH support then the Samaritans are able to speak with you 24hrs a day and are very good at listening. If you are worried that yourself or someone else in your family is at risk of hurting themselves or others then phone either your GP or 111 for out of hours medical care. If they have already taken something then go with them to A&E.

if it is advice about other matters then CAB are your best bet although im not sure they are open on a Saturday in all areas.

If you let us know a little more we might be able to offer more detailed help.

I am really sorry for the difficulties that you and your family are going through at the moment. You sound in very much need of help and you must be feeling very anxious and maybe scared. I really do empathise with you and hope that you will be able to get some help . You have been given very good advice by Pandorasbox and Sarah1111111.

Most GP. practices have an out of hours doctor on call over weekends. If you ring their number , you should be able to leave a message with your name and contact details and someone will get back to you.

Also try calling NHS 111........they are open 24 hours a day every day and often they can direct you to receive Medical Help over the w/end or even send a GP to your home.

If it is necessary for you or your family to attend A/E please do so.

Citizens Advice have a website and contact details, they may be able to help you as soon as possible also, their details are.........
