Counselling

scarsbeneathyourbeautiful profile image

Today I took the plunge and emailed someone regarding private counselling. It is something I have been debating for several months but have been far too scared to even enquire about it. I'm hoping I don't regret it and pull out as this is something I desperately need, I've realised that now.

Good for you, you've taken the first step. Just make sure your counsellor is qualified and has the appropriate experience.

Thank you Gary. I will don't worry, I've researched her online.

Well done. Please make sure the Counsellor is registered with the Official Counselling Board, is suitably qualified and that someone you trust knows where you are going. Perhaps you could arrange to let them know you are safe. You cannot be too careful these days.

I hope your counselling goes well,

Lottie x

Thank you! I have searched online and it came up with all qualifications, I will look further into it but I'm confident she's ok. My parents don't know about the counselling, but my partner will know each time I am there. Thank you for your advice and support X

Thank you. This is private, I wasn't going to go to my docs and wait for a counsellor so I'm paying. They all have set prices unless you don't have an income, then they'll reduce the cost. It'll be expensive but it's something I need to do. Good luck!
