Glad that your still fighting even though you've had a stressful time recently.
I think ,I do, but love Xmas. It's very strange feeling isn't it. Yet when aboard sometimes it's dark at seven even in the summer. Do miss the long summer evenings though.
Take care and good luck.
Best wishes.
Interesting you have grey dog, Churchill called his depression black dog. I haven't named mine yet, I'll have to have a think. This time of year Sept. through Dec. is difficult for me because of the deaths of my brother and father. I know at this point it will always be so. My Dad died when I was five and that empty feeling always comes along. I try to plan things to do , and sometimes I force myself to take part in something when I would rather go to bed. I don't want to pass these feelings on to my family so I keep it to myself and that is one reason why this forum is so helpful. One thing I do on dark winter days is put every light in the house on and all televisions and the radio. It makes me feel alive, and sometimes I sing and dance. I am so very bad at both that I have to laugh at myself.

My depression gets worse at this time of year without fail--it's been that way as long as I can remember. I find that using a SAD lamp takes the edge off the blues; not a cure-all, but one of the strategies I use to keep myself going at this time of year (and through the miserable winters where I live.)
Hi yes I think it's time to Start with SAD lamp again, didn't need it last year but it just shows you, it's never far away, walked again today, felt better for it
