Good morning, another nice day outside. Only problem is I'm feeling down and finding it hard to get myself going.
I guess that's the way it is with us; up and down, step forward, step backwards, standing still. There isn't always an obvious answer for how we feel ; just the ebb and flow.
I've had a better day than normal; met up with a friend and had a nice chat; I did not feel as low or as paranoid (not in the clinical sense) about myself as I normally do and just decided to think that I am ok and being anxious is ok,it is me; but it doesn't make me a monster. I'm thankful for any time I feel any sort of a lift. Hope you've picked up a little; sun is out again maybe some more gardening for you this afternoon? Gem X
It is frustrating to feel like that again - there will be a reason whether it is physical or emotion but often it proves difficult to work out what has changed. Perhaps the first task is to just accept that there will be good and bad days and that today you just need time out, maybe to read or watch dvds and allow the time to pass. It can be boring or a treat, depending what it means to you. Give yourself lots of internal cuddles and maybe soothe yourself with whatever makes you feel comforted - as long as it doesn't cause a problem for tomorrow - like guzzling chocolate if you are trying to lose weight as I am! Some days stuff feels quite easy, like you've finally got the hang of it, and then other days it's right back to the beginning again. Just keep taking those baby steps, try and not push yourself harder than you know you can take. Accept that some days you'll get less done than others. And some days you won't make any progress. Hope your garden is nice and sunny. CG xx
