Hi and thank you for taking the time to read my post
Suffering right now like mad guys.
Don't know why it started.
My problem is that I never was constipated. I was doing gym and having a diet with lots of fruit and vegetables. Going to the toilet doesn't give me any pain. Its the afterwards that kills me. A sharp pain and burning up to 10 hours. Doctor told me its a fissure
Also the muscles around-the- area tend to become so tense the pain gets so bad. I'm taking cicatridine suppositery and rectogesic cream.
So the cream relaxes the muscles and the supportery should work on the cut.
7 days gone, 3 times went to the toilet. I love food and started to refusing it as the pain gets excruciating. Wished death upon me twice already. Before starting the cure I am now ended up on the floor and I couldn't breathe or move. Surviving on soup at lunch and a slice of bread at dinner. Sometimes I skip it. Especially now with the covid its impossible to stand in line at the supermarket. Never felt so low in my life. If I don't go to the toilet the pain is bearable with sits baths. Or water bottles. Dreading tomorrow as I know I'll have to go. Surgery is out of the question at the minute but I would do it right now to just go back to my normal life

If the pain is this severe, and the rectogesic isnt helping enough, you may need to go back to the GP. Was this a phone or video consult ? were you examined ?
Phone call, done a research on my own once the pain was really at the highest pick. And told her I wanted to try that cream. She said yes. Pain still there but it did calmed down a bit
May I ask if you are a gay man, or had any recent unprotected anal sex ( receptive ) ?
is the skin outside the anus intact ?
Yes I am, same partner for years
is the skin intact outside the anus ?
Honesty don't know Can't seem to feel anything wrong. Although before the covid the doctor examined me and with her finger managed to tell me that the fissure was a problem. . When I put the cream on I do it all of inside and outside as well. Started using sudo cream in the afternoon as it seems its getting better
If it is improving with treatment, then it may just take time. If the pain is very severe and really causing you problems , sexual health services are still seeing emergencies, call your local unit. They dont stock other medicines like diltiazem cream, but may be able to give you an outside prescription for it. Mainly it would be to exclude other potential causes like herpes simplex, which can cause a very severe proctitis ( inflammation in the bum ) and which can occur even in monogamous relationships. Also perianal bacterial abscesses which can be acutely painful. However if your symptoms have lasted for weeks rather than days, this is highly unlikely ( for herpes )
Thank you so much for your suggestions first of all. Have been diagnosed with fissure since last July, was supposed to have surgery but they cooked it for December 22. I'm a chef and had a work place fully booked for Christmas day. So had to cancel for work. Using just cicatridina suppositeries healed bit and now exploded again with two massive hemorrhoids. Got nearly rid of them with proctosedyl and now working with the fissure. Fingers crossed. Today had a bowel movement and the pain mild to medium appeared after 3 hours. That's a record
thats great and well done on treating yourself. If it has been there for that period of time you may indeed require surgery if failing to clear with topical therapies. Make sure you are back on the waiting list via Gp referral.
Thank you
you are most welcome
