Questions about cold sores and genital herpes.

So I have a cold sore but I didn't notice it yesterday and I had kissed my girlfriend then she had given me oral then we had sex. Does this mean the herpes would have come into contact with my penis and then into contact with my girlfriend's vagina giving us both genital herpes? Also, I've never had a cold sore hence why I didn't notice it.

Yes it is possible, but likelihood is low. If you are still worried use a cold sore cream on your lips and something like cannestan on yours and your girlfriends genitals. An oral version is also available.
