Is this herpes or anything else?

My husband has recently noticed some small sores on his penis, these are very itching and burning. He also experiences painful sensation during urination and a mild fever. Is this herpes or genital warts? Could I spread it to him, or did he cheat me? I'm nervous and we gonna to see doctor on Friday, please let me know

It sounds like genital herpes. Your husband may experience the first herpes outbreak, it's typically more severe than other herpes recurrences. Both should see doctor to check for sure and receive treatment. I can't sure who gave him this virus, only tests from your doctor may help. You can also have a conversation to ask him about it

Thank you so much. I asked him already and he insisted that he never cheated me. We're going see doctor on Friday. Hope everything will be fine because if this is herpes, it's very terrible.

If your husband is diagnosed with herpes, doctors will prescribe antiviral medications, such as Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, and Prosurx to cure it. Now, things you need are to go to doctor soon and abstain from sex.

Yes, we got tested alrealy and have been waiting for results. But my doctor insists that my husband is more likely to have genital herpes

Also remember genital herpes can lay dormant for many years before an outbreak, don’t automatically think your husband may have cheated.

Thanks for your reply, we got tested yesterday and have been wating for results. But my doctor insists that my husband is more likely to have genital herpes. I've had no any symptom, so swab test isn't available for me
