Sorry I haven’t posted in a while I’ve just been sooo busy with uni work and things.
Anyway just thought I’d give an update on how the post surgery is now. Practically all my sensitivity has gone now, I’m basically back to normal life and everything is fine. I still have some swelling but I know swelling can take a while to go down, I’ve heard months upon months so that’s no worry for me.
I’m in no pain or anything, about 99% of my stitches are out now and trust me once they come out, or start to come out the healing process gets so much better and it gets quicker too so yeah everything is good and I couldn’t be happier now that I’ve got it done. For those who don’t know I needed it because I had phimosis and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made

Yeah the more stitches that come out the easier it gets, it’s the stitches that cause the pain basically! So yeah it will get better and the erections will stop hurting don’t worry

Hey man, was wondering how did you glans look after circumcision? Does it swell? I got mine done 30 hrs ago roughly and my glans (pee hole) looks deformed lol well not deformed but swelled up.i posted it on my page if you wanna see a pic. Thanks man!
Hey! I still have swelling around the start of the head of the penis, like a ring of swelling but it’s gone down a lot since surgery but just waiting for it to heal perfect haha
Your pee hole seems fine, probably just a bit swollen as the rest of your penis will be for some time! Nothing to worry about at all, mine wasn’t like that but it honestly doesn’t seem like a problem! As long as you’re in no pain because of it then you’re all good feel free to ask me anything if you wish
okay awesome man! I’m on day 2, so far no pain. Went to a great urologist whose fine over 2400 circums so I’m pretty excited to see the result. Thanks for sharing your journey man! I appreciate it.

Yeah! One more thing. I’ve got 2 sets of bandages, he told me to take out first set at 3 days, and the big one at 10 days. It’s that how your went? He says I can shower but put condom over it for first 10 days. Don’t get it wet.
I had one bandage and was told to take it off after 2-3 days. And no I was told not to get it wet for 2 days which I didn’t, but you definitely need to clean it otherwise it will get infected! Make sure you clean it because you don’t want to delay your healing. There may be a reason he said so but I don’t believe it shouldn’t be kept clean for 10’days! That’s quite unhygienic especially after an op with blood and things
Gotcha. Yeah that’s true, well he’s an expert it at it, has done thousands, and told me to stick to what he says. I got boners and didn’t hurt, he said he uses fine stitches and the compression wrap promotes the healing and aesthetic result, to do exactly what he says 😅 But I’m in a bind. I too wanna clean down there, 10 days seems to long but I am taking antibiotics everyday..
Yeah he knows best haha, it’s good the boners didn’t hurt you because they’re extremely painful hahah
Yeah well he has reasoning so maybe it’s best you follow his instructions, but I get where you’re coming from, I'd feel dirty not cleaning down there for that long! However the antibiotics do prevent infection if they’re the ones you’re taking so yeah!

Hi Anon20 , congrats for good news. I m on my 17th day post op, my concern is stitches poking out, especially on right side of corona and 2 below it. I don't wear any underwear but big towel and didnt put up any bandage as guided by doc after 1st week checkup. But stitches when they touch scrotum/balls it gives intense pain and I just become steady to tolerate pain to go off. This creates discomfort in walking. Still I am confused is it stitches creating pain through nerves, because I can't simulate same pain by touching them to confirm exactly what's the cause. Any suggestions?? I am taking antibiotics even now and multi vitamin tablets suggested by doc.
I’m so so sorry that I’ve only just seen this! I hope everything is fine now. I’m pretty sure it were the stitches because once my stitches went my really bad pain went, then it was just a bit uncomfortable. I hope you’re feeling much better I’m fully healed now and I hope you are too
My doctor told me to remove all of my stitches at 14 days. He said that they do not do anything after two weeks. He has done over 8000 adult procedures.
My wife took them out for me. No stitch marks on my healed circumcised penis.

If they’re fine, you may just have to get used to touching it. For example, I’d also try this in the shower when cleaning it. Even though it was sensitive to touch, I knew the more I touched it the less sensitive it’d get over time
I understand. I had the exact same problem as you! From my experience, you shouldn’t be wrapping it in gauze 4 weeks down the line. I was told after 3 days I shouldn’t wrap it in gauze but every doctors advice is different. My best advice is to wear tight underwear without the gauze and try get used to it.
However, before you start thinking that’s impossible and it’s gonna hurt/sting, I was the same. Yet, looking back on it, if I didn’t take that step I really don’t think I would’ve healed as quickly. Your penis has to get used to touching materials and fabrics to reduced sensitivity. Once it begins to feel normal when walking and wearing underwear you’ll be fine in no time honestly
I chose tight underwear because it kept my penis in place rather than it moving everywhere which made it more sensitive. Don’t get me wrong I walked weirdly for a few days but you begin to get used to it!
I always put Vaseline onto my underwear, like covered it in Vaseline so the tip would never stick to my underwear. It happened to me the first time and was horrible, and from then on used Vaseline and it done the trick haha
I was circumcised for phimosis sept 2019 and then just 5 days ago had a second surgery to remove frenulum as it was causing me discomfort
Wearing underwear is fine but when the penis rubs while sitting or walking the tip specially when rubbing and moving in underwear feels uncomfortable, does this happen to you? Will this tip get more harder and stronger so it does not feel uncomfortable?
I am able to touch the glans with my fingers but the underside of the glans still is more sensitive than the upper side
It just needs time. I don’t know much about the frenulum as I didn’t have that removed, however I believe it is just a matter of time.
As it was only 5 days ago since you had the surgery, it’s more than likely to be quite sensitive and irritable when walking. It just needs time to rebuild and like you said, get tougher and stronger. No need to worry honestly
