Day 7 post op. Question on urine leakage and erection strength.

Happy to say my healing is looking really well. Ointment runs out today so ill double up on my salt baths tomorrow. I've noticed though, the last few days when i sit a few drops of urine leak maybe 2-3 times but just drops after i pee. When i pee ot feels like a full release but if i flex the kegel muscle? It still spirts a bit out. Has this been the case for anyone else and is it expected somewhat? I had phimosis before, some urine leakage just before op for a couple weeks and a bit of inflammation. The surgeon told me the inflammation didnt look like anything troublesome after the op. Also is it normal to not have full strength erections a week in? I realised thats why mine werent painful at night just tight. Plus i had a wet dream last night with no pain just a panic thinking it was blood filling my underwear. My erections are strong but just stay at flaccid size. Will they return to size as stitches come out and my body is just traumatised still? Thanks for any input cant seem to find much online.

Yes, the urine part is pretty normal after circumcision, should pass in a few days. Weaker erections are also pretty normal, as your penis went through a sort of "shock", will also return to normal. A circumcision has no affecting your penis size in the slightest. Weaker erections can also be due to the "fear" of what could happen or that it could hurt in your mind so you don't get a full on. As I said, all should pass in a while.

So even a few weeks should be normal for the urine leakage? Im assuming some parts of my operation down there will heal faster than other parts compared to other people cause our bodies are all different. If its still there in august ill talk to my urologist. But otherwise thanks for the reassurance and insight cipher!

Well I guess it depends on the swelling I guess. I think mine stopped before the swelling went completely away but that is individual.

How long was it for most/all your swelling to go?

ehm, the pee drops started and I believe also ended within the 2nd week. As for the swelling, I can't recall precisely but I think 4 - 5 weeks?

Out of curiosity did you get gunk around your stitches/sutures? Mines been there nearly a week and wondering how long for it to heal. I heard clean it where you can but some of mine is skin tight and stings at the slightest touch still. Will it heal slower leaving it?

Our penis is so intelligent until it self-realizes that its been injured and severed. It detects thst if it would fully and strongly erect, and hold it's position for long like it used to, that that would bring a damning pain to the entire penis itself. So it knows how to option for alternate semi-erections for pain and danage sake😉👍
