17 and having erection problems

I'm new here and made an account just to ask about this. I'm 17 years old and in my life I've never had any problems with my sex drive which made me think I was abnormal. But recently I've being trying to lose my virginity with my girlfriend and I've been having trouble getting completely erect. We'll have foreplay and I'll get hard but as things progress it wont stay up, we've tried a few times and every time I havent been able to get completely hard or it hasn't lasted. Its annoying because when I'm on my own and I masturbate or look at porn I have no problems. I dont know if its just nerves or something or whether I actually have a problem and should see someone.

I'd really appreciate any feedback or help because this is becoming a serious source of stress in my life.

You guessed it exactly right. It's nerves. And, it is surprisingly common. I had the same thing with my first girlfriend, except I couldn't get it up at all. Agree with medibation, almost certainly nerves. Do not put yourself under pressure. Just wait and see what happens, your girlfriend can be pleasured in other ways.
