Anxiety and chest pain
Lewis,
When you say being in pain "all the time", I assume you mean periods of chest pain which occur frequently.
If that's the case and your tests have all come back 'normal', then there has to be some other cause which is not related to your heart. It could be a muscular problem. Have you considered that?

Having had an anxiety problem for more years than I can remember which comes on when I am under stress, a small amount of stress can set it off. My chest tightens which makes my anxiety worse creating a vicious circle creating pain; I know this is caused by not breathing properly. There are many relaxation methods out there but if you are tense it is easy said than done to make this work.
I do take Anti- Depressants and occasionally Larazepam which does help, but I would rather be without them.
I know when I am under stress as I have a tender spot in the centre of my chest, which can be with me for months.
As all your tests are negative it comes down to the mind, I think the best thing you can try to do is reduce your tension by using various breathing techniques, it works for me sometimes.
If you are having trouble sleeping, try Phenergan, it works for me.
