Tight frenulum/foreskin

I'm new here. 19, uncircumcised. Circumcision is out of the window for right now, not interested. I've had a tight foreskin as long as I can remember. Parents never talked about sex so I didn't start masturbating until 16. At first my head was super sensitive but that problem is gone now from constant massaging in the shower with my penis head exposed. I did stretches so that I would be able to pull back the foreskin behind the head when flaccid. I can't pull it back when I'm fully erect, I usually would pull back my foreskin when I'm partially erect to so that I could allow my penis to grow into the pull backed erect state. I noticed when I reach about 90% of my erection, the tight frenulum holds me back from getting harder. I have to let my penis to become flacid to push the skin back over the head as well. Any advice on how to loosen up my frenulum? I've heard of cream treatment but not too sure on how to choose which one or what's the best cream to use.

It's a steroid cream you need.

In the UK it is prescription only from the doctor.

You shouldn't be embarrassed about showing your doctor as this is an extremely common problem that they will see all the time.

The cream has to be used for at least 3 to 4 months to give it chance to work.

Any cream potent enough to augment a stretching program will require a physician’s prescription. It also carries risks. Stretching alone will cure your problem. Retraction to your limit of comfort, holding it there for five minutes, and doing that several times per day is your best choice. I suggest four sessions combined with mini stretch session after each time you pee. You can also grasp the attachment point of the frenulum and foreskin and pull out away from your body, using the same timing guidelines. You are not a candidate for circumcision.

Stretching and creams are not a cure they are only temporary as soon as he stops doing it, his foreskin will go tight again. Once the foreskin has lost it’s elasticity there’s no way of permanently getting it back.

That’s a commonly held myth. The reason is that many quit before giving skin cell time to divide and generate new cells. Stretching shpuld continue for 4-6 weeks after the goal has been met.

I’m circumcised for that exact reason just get circumcised your problems solved then or you can use steroid creams for the rest of your life as soon as you stop using them it will go tight again.

Agree with you whole heartedly!!

Ryan, unfortunately, you didn’t get proper coaching. Once new cells form, the skin will not revert unless there is a skin disease present. The steroid generally prescribed should never be used for an extended period or damage can result.

Either way when it’s gone it’s gone I’ve been circumcised for that very reason I saw 5 different specialists who couldn’t do anymore for me circumcision was the last resort, even when I was sat waiting for my op one bloke was 50 years old and was using creams on and off for 7 years and it just kept going back, you’ve been coached in correctly 👍

Ryan, I have over 30 years of experience in coaching men of all ages. Nearly all found permanent success.

It doesn’t matter how much experience you have i know I’ve experienced myself and was sat next to a bloke who used creams for 7 years. 3 specialists told me they couldn’t help me anymore. My doctor couldn’t help me either so I was referred to a urologist even then they said circumcision is your best option. So have 3 specialists, a doctor and a urologist all lied to me 😂

They replied with what they knew and only that. Most are not trained to cure but to operate. No one lied. They simply were ignorant of all options.

Jim if you have 30 years experience with helping men stretch their foreskins fair play mate! (Wouldn’t be my line of work if I had a choice but anyway)... I don’t see why you feel the need to argue with Ryan, he’s already had the operation, I also have tried many different creams and seen many different doctors - IM THE ONE MAKING THE CHOICE to get circumsised. Stop trying to discourage people, it’s pathetic and just goes to show how much time you have to waste.

You probably don’t see or understand a lot of issues and situations. Perhaps you could learn about what you don’t know by listening. Meanwhile, it’s your decision entirely to submit to surgery, right or wrong.

I just watched a documentary on Netflix, it’s called “American Circumcision”. There is so much helpful information in that movie. The movie is definitely against circumcision and pro uncircumcision. There are techniques discussed in the movie for stretching the foreskin. I would recommend the movie to anybody, male, female, circumcised or uncircumcised. The movie is a real eye-opener as to how damaging circumcision can be. But also has details about stretching the foreskin which may be helpful.

I did not use steroid creams when stretching my phimotic ring. However, I have no scarring or other damage. I found use of silicone rings worked in 6 weeks. Despite the claims of others, my phimotic ring did not shrink again. The increase in ring diameter was from 22mm to 44mm. Retraction is now painless with greatly heightened sensations during sex. The intact foreskin also affords the glans the protection it needs.

Circumcision, if not medically necessary, will result in different sensations and carries risk of infection and more. I decided to stretch the phimotic ring instead of opting for drastic circumcision. Dismissing those who promote circumcision without justification other than their own preference is necessary if one wants to find the best personal solution. Once the foreskin is removed, it cannot be replaced and the benefit of the sensitive raphe is gone.
