One week since my operation and looking at some stories I can't complain about my appendage and its progress. Erections, for the time being are stuff made of nightmares.
I have a half marathon in four weeks and a full marathon in six. Apart from some weight gain I know my fitness will see me through these events. Poor planning I know!
When can I start running? I lasted 15 mins on cross trainer yesterday and will aim for 20 today. Lots of vaseline . Anyone have any experiences they can share.

Healing seems to be okay. Swelling down and stitches look clean. Occasionally moments of pain but bearable.
Did 40 mins on stair climber which seems to be best exercise for minimal friction. Thought it would be a lot worse than it had been. Read some horror stories!!!
I will be very careful about chafing. Running a marathon while the scar is still fresh and the tissue underneath still healing might not be the best idea.
