Painful week

I had to go into emergency on Sunday, April 30, 2017 with severe pain on my right side.

They did a CT scan and said I was passing a stone. They gave me Tramadol for pain. It worked a little.

I had to do a follow up with my urologist on Wednesday, May 3. He gave me Tylenol 3 with codeine. It worked great.

I registered at the Specialty Hospital on Murchison on Thursday, May 4, 2017.

I had surgery on Friday, May 5, 2017 to remove a kidney stone.

I am home now resting. I am feeling better.

They put me to sleep. When the doctor looked into my ureter and bladder, the stone had already passed. It was 6 mm. I did not notice. The pain medicine kept me from feeling it. There are no discounts. Same price. My urologist was disappointed. He wanted to use the laser.

I had a kidney stone removed too. Absolute agony!🤢 Sounds like you had a lucky break. My urologist told me it's almost impossible to pass a stone bigger than 5 mm do you did well.

I had a 3 week follow-up appointment with my urologist. He said I am doing well. I have no more kidney stones in either kidney.
