Can't fully retract foreskin, how do I wash underneath my foreskin?

I'm 14 and I can only retract my foreskin about halfway over the head, any further and it starts to hurt. On the NHS website it says I am supposed to wash underneath the foreskin but I cannot fully retract the foreskin, what do I do?

Hi Luke, if you cannot pull the foreskin all the way back it would be best to speak to the GP as over a long period of time you could be exposed to infections. Maybe not the answer you are looking for. But hopefully you can find a solution.

The best place to practice pulling your foreskin back is in a warm bath. The skin will become more supply and stretch easier. It may feel uncomfortable to start with but stay with it. If after a couple of months of trying it doesn't work for you then ask dad to take you to the doctors. It may be you need a circumcision . But don't worry about it . It's the best thing you can do for your cock.

If you have no other symptoms, such as discharge or pain I would just continue with gentle stretching in the bath or shower as described by others. You are still quite young, I was over twenty before I could pull back and suffered no other problems in that time. Again as others have said go see your Doc if you are worried or other problems arise. Circumcision is something I would suggest as a last resort.

go to drelastic.com to learn of simple exercises to do 3-4 times per day to enlarge your foreskin opening. The little web (frenulum) inside the foreskin may also need lengthening. The website shows how to do that too.

Cleaning periodically with clear water only will keep your penis healthy. As the stretching works, you’ll be able to reach the places needing attention. Smegma causes no problems.
