Hello, I had circumcision 7 days ago , my penis is swollen and doctor after the surgery used cotton bandage, which i could not remove completely...still there are some cotton sticked to my sutures. Also my skin still cover 1/3rd of my glans , so i m worried if doctor did not remove enough skin... .I wanted a high cut circumcision... i m worried about how it would look after it completely heals...and how long will it take to heal...

The skin is there to give you room to grow when you have an erection. Swelling will make it look like more of the glans is covered. Give it three more weeks to settle down and let us know how it's going. Good luck.

Hey It’s a good thing that he has left skin - it’s the same with me - this allows for it to grow if you are a grower - my penis is tiny when it’s flaccid maybe an inch or two but it grows to around 6 inches - so that extra skin helps.

Regarding the cotton - don’t worry about it - I am on day 14 today and it was only on day 13 (yesterday) that I lost all the stuck dressing from the wound - the dressing in my case was stuck to the glue - I didn’t try to force it - it just gradually came out on the day 13.

Just make sure you are putting in lots of antibiotic cream as suggested to avoid any infections. I would put it in excess over my thin layer of dressing (that couldn’t be removed). All the best - in 3 weeks time you will be so happy with the decision you have made.

Hey hows your cut looks now? Does it still look like your glans are covered or is it ok?? Cause im on 6 th day and my situation is just like yours
