Things Changed after TURP

I’m a 45 year old man who had a TURP about 5 years ago. Ever since I have had retrograde ejaculation and pain on ejaculation. It makes you feel lesser of a man when you can’t shoot. It has caused me major depression. My question is are there other guys out there like me?

I have retrograde ejaculation since I began taking tamsulosin for my BPH. It happens probably 50% of the time? I don’t really mind it. Less to clean up!

Yes mate I get the feeling but nothing happens I had the green light laser but I have no pain

That’s pretty common after TURP. The pain should go away, replaced by intense orgasms.

I had my Turps about 35 years ago, ejaculation will never be as good as before but at least you can still get an erection

I have retrograde ejaculation and it makes me feel inadequate, it ruins sex for me, I can become sexually aroused but when the climax is approaching I find I am unable to continue because of what happens when I get there.I went to my doctor and he was completely unsympathetic and tried to fob me off by prescribing Viagra.

I know the exact feeling man. It hadn’t changed for me with time It’s only gotten worse.
