Why is my circumcision taking so long to heal?

It’s been just under 2 months since I had my circumcison. Initially, the healing began fairly quickly. But it seems to have slowed down massively. I started masturbating regularly after around 2 weeks as it didn’t hurt unless I rubbed the tip. I had sex for the first time in a while a few days ago (about 7/8 weeks in) and it wasn’t Particularly enjoyable. Oral sex was also just painful (neither were outrageously painful to the point I had to ask the girl to stop, but still not enjoyable). It didn’t feel good at all and therefore I struggled to ejaculate, or that’s my assumption. Is it possible the circumcision won’t let me have sex properly, Although I can still masturbate. Sounds ridiculous but I’m nervous as fuck about this. I’ve booked into the doctors in a week but can’t wait for answers. Please someone put me at ease with good news. Is it normal for it to take this long to heal?

You may have slowed down the healing by masturbating far to early. I cannot understand why you are having sex that is not enjoyable at the risk of that continuing the slowdown of healing.

I’ve stopped having sex now to begin the healing process. But I don’t understand in the first place why it’s taking so long.

It could be taking longer as you started sex too early.

Because the penis is a complex sensitive organ. That's why all the advice is 4-6 weeks without sex or strenuous activity

Two weeks is way too early to have started masturbating, externally it might have looked ok but internally there's a lot of damage which takes longer to heal. No masturbating, no sex for four weeks and you should see things improve.

4 weeks doesn’t seem too bad. I was a virgin at the time so was desperate to lose it as well.

Oh OK, I understand the urgency You've got plenty of time to experiment and keep in mind the first few times are exciting but actually probably the worst sex you'll have in your entire life. My first time I struggled to come and it wasn't enjoyable, and that was with a very experienced older woman
