I cannot pull back my foreskin

I am 18 years old and when I try to pull back my foreskin at any stage it just causes pain. I am able to madturbate but I fear when I have sex at some stage I will not be able to because of my foreskin that won’t pull back. What do I do and is this something to worry about?

I suggest you to contact GP or urologist and discuss with him/her about your issue. If you can't wash your penis under the foreskin properly, it might cause you infection later in life.

Yes talk to a urologist most likely they are going to recommend a circumcision. I got mine like 6 weeks I had phimosis but I was still able to pull it back I just got circumcised and so far everything is good.

You most probably have phimosis. I had it too and had complication during sex. It basically tore and resulted in blood loss. Hence you probably need to undergo circumcision. Contact a urologist immediately.

Hi Matthew it sounds like you have phimosis. you should be able to retract your foreskin and clean underneath everyday this in important for hygiene and to avoid infections. you should speak with your GP they may prescribe some steroid cream and try some stretching exercises first this may take some time but persevere with it and see how it goes. I concur with the advice to try stretching your foreskin first.Circumcision should be the last resort.

Don't be bullied into a circumcision.

The doctor does not have to live with the consequences of it, you do.

If stretching does not work, look into a procedure called a dorsal slit.

Try the less invasive options first.

They will take some time, but so will recovery from a circumcision.

You can start off with stretching exercises in attempt to loosen the foreskin yourself. These can be found online or a GP should be able to tell you. They may be able to prescribe a cream which can help with it. Please don’t rush and get a circumcision before you’ve tried all other options. Good luck
