1st week lymph , shower

Hello everyone, I have been reading your posts which has helped me a Lot so far.I am on day 6 doing dressings everyday as doctor prescribed until penis starts to come out dry. He estimated until day 7 or 8.

My only question that I couldnt find yet is about lymph. I know it is normal and that I shouldnt clean /rub it,(tried absorbing it with a gauze though)my concern is that I produce too much imo specially in the end of my shower, i see it come out of lost of my stiches

Id like to know if this happens to you , maybe i take too long washing it ?and if you have any advices in general for lymph i would appreciate it.

Side note is that I dont see much blood coming out when i remove dsily dressing. It is mostly lymph, i have the top of my penis very swole which doesnt let me see my top side (opposite of frenulum)Stitches.

First confirm with doctor that it is lymph! If it’s lymph don't worry! Keep the area dry as far as possible exposed to air and absorbing on guaze is the best thing to do as it kewps area clean!

The lymph is building material so it helps to heal.. no worries if it’s not accompanied with pus or high pain!

Doctor may prescribe antibacterial powder instead of ointment!
