Age and penis shape

Hi. I'm 72 and in the past 6 months my erect penis shape has changed. When I get an erection now the base end of the shaft has become much broader whilst the tip end has remained the same girth as before. Consequently my erections are shorter and softer. I tried Viagra but it makes no difference. I

Has anyone else experienced this is this a result of the ageing process?
