Hey guys, when I have an erection, my foreskin can retract past the glands fine but once it goes past the glands it becomes tight and cannot retract much further. Is this normal and will I experience pain during sexual intercourse.

It seems that you have phimosis and this is not normal. There should be no pain or difficulty when retracting the foreskin.

I imagine your situation will make sex less than enjoyable.

See your doctor about getting this fixed.

Your situation does not seem to be too severe so stretching exercises aided by steroid creams should be able to loosen you foreskin.

When you see the doctor, ask lots of questions and don't be bullied into circumcision.

Circumcision should be used as a last resort.

Thanks man, I’m seeing the doctor on Monday so will make sure to ask a lot of questions and yes circumcision isn’t my preference and most certainly my last resort
