Circumcision Stitches/Erection Pain

I’m on just over week 2 of my recovery of circumcision and recovering from an infection below the glans under the skin of the top of my shaft. I was just wondering how long it should be expected to have pain when erect, the urologist said that it’s the stitches causing it however I only have the pain around the previously infected area where the stitches are. They are dissolvable stitches and just wondering how long I can expect the pain to last from stitches based off others experiences. Thanks.

You are likely to have some scarring from the infection. That could be your problem.

Should the pain fade over time then once the scaring has settled? It doesn’t bother me as it wasn’t visible so the scar won’t be either

A lot of scarring does resolve.

What did the infection looked like?

It was swollen below the glans quite noticeably and after a while leaked a bit of pus when pressed on
