Post circumcision scarring

Can anyone recommend an oil or cream for post circumcision scarring please, and when do you start using it?

You can start to apply moisturizer when the wound is healed shut, stitches are gone and there are no moist areas on incision line. The main idea is to keep scar line moisturized first 3-6 months at least, cause scar is like damaged skin and your body can not moisturize it well. Preputial mucosa aka inner foreskin will never be similar than normal skin.

I used silicone scar sheet myself cause then you don't have to apply moisturizer at the same time. Sheet preserves normal body moist under it. It was easier and cleaner to use silicone sheet, cause some oils will dirt your underwear.

Scientifically there is evidence that emollient cream with ceramide can absorb to deeper tissue. Normal oils and creams just moist the surface and a person will have a feeling of soft skin. Anyway use whatever makes you feel happy.

Bio-Oil is as good as any mineral oil like Baby oil. I prefer coconut oil as a personal lubricant.

After 3 weeks you can apply scar away silicone strips. Nothing else
