I’m nearly four months post-circ. Healing relatively well but I experience a lot of soreness at the top of the shaft, below head, around the scar line.
I’ve had issues with the scar feeling tight - I’ve been using bio oil twice a day and steroid cream once a day on it. There is some progress.
I still continue to feel sore when I masturbate. As you can see from the picture, I experience a lot of redness, and you can even see some chapped skin here.
Input appreciated.
During your recovery period after how long you started applying bio-oil? Once stitches are totally off and wound healed? I am on day 15 and just wondering. Thanks
I only started applying bio oil at about the 6/8 week mark.
Have you spoken to your doctor about the redness? I have the same issue
You will experience a few problems because you was with a foreskin now things has changed and now it’s going to take a while for your penis to feel normal from the change. See when baby’s get circumcised they start getting use to the pain, tolerance, diapers, underwear etc.. and as a baby you don’t feel that or know about it. Well now your an adult your going to feel all what you missed as a baby.
It does look sore. No idea why that would be though. Have you tried stopping masturbation for a week or more?
How are things now mister? I had my circumcision 3 years ago and it is still sore where the stitches were. I have started using vitamin e cream to see if it can help the scaring.

I have the same issue of shaft skin being tight at the scar line. I had my zsr circumcision 2.5 weeks back..really worried how it will work because if is still tight it will defeat the purpose of having circumcision.
