For 2 days I have been going hot and cold, a continuous headache, I find it hard to look at bright light and I have become very drowsy, sleeping for the majority of the past 2 days. At first I thought it could be flu but I do not have a runny nose can anyone help please? Thanks

I would always suggest contact a doctor if you suspect meningitis as the treatment depends on the type. You can always ring the meningitis trust help line - sorry I don't know it but its on their web site. Hope you feel better soon.

I agree with Blim, better to be safe than sorry, contact your doctor or NHS walk in centre. Hope you are better soon x

If you are unsure, go to your doctor. My son's lab only showed low platelets and high bilirubin. He complained of a severe headache and total body aches, not relieved with pain meds. He had no rash and no stiff neck until it was too late.
