Spam messages

Just a quick message to say please be aware there is an issue where you may receive a private message that is spam. We have blocked the user responsible but thought we would make you aware. It is an issue that HealthUnlocked is currently working out.

HI Thomas, yes had 2 emails, deleted it, as it did not seem kosha, but thank you for the heads up

Yes I received it too and spoke to the MT about it. It is such a shame that someone wants to try and damage what has been such a successful and helpful site where those who have genuinely suffered from Meningitis or there family can all supportively communicate with each other.

Thank you for sorting it, it is important that users to this site feel safe and have the freeeom to share information, without having the fear of idiots like this violating this site and its privacy. I also ignored my message from the person involved.

Oops just noticed these comments!!! I too have received such an e-mail....im disgusted that someone is trying to Scam this site!! User name is blessing100.....and e-mail addy is ([e-mail]) BEWARE OF THIS IDIOT!!!!
