My baby daughter might have BM - help?

Hi I have a 6 week old baby daughter whose been admitted to hospital with suspect BM, they've taken samples - blood, spinal etc and have started antibiotic treatment. Thanks to my wife's intuition I think they started treatment early but I just wondered if anyone out there have gone through something similar and what to expect should the tests come back positive. Thanks!

If the test comes back positive,after reading about what bacterial meningitis is..it will shock you..scare you and from then on...you will be on your toes observing the progress of your daughter...probably you will almost be like a paeditrician of sorts..checking for milestones..etc..that’s what exactly happened to me. Thank God,my daughter pulled through without any side effects and she is 2.6 years now..However,i still have anxiety..just the mere thought about BM will give me sleepless nights...the mere thought about the worst case scenario in regards to side effects is unbearable!! Have not had sex since then coz am

Scared of having another baby ! But I wish you luck and may God do miracles for your daughter!
