I have constant headaches . restless legs when I want to sleep depression anxiety panic attacks arthritis in my spine terrible memory . never knew it could all be down to the VM I had 6 years ago til I started reading about it . I don't think my doctor knows a lot about VM . or anything else for that matter . I'm so tired all the time too

I had bacterial meningitis 2 1/2 years ago. And here I am sick sick again. My head hurts just like when i went into the icu. I am scared to the core. I have suffered from insomnia ptsd anxiety panic and depression. Meningitis sucks bad!

I'm so sorry u are going through this again. I was told at the hospital mine could come back too , any virus can set it off . I hope u are well again now . I hope u don't get it again . I don't think I ever felt so ill in all my life

Hi I have not been diagnosed with vm but I do believe I have it because I am experiencing much of the symptoms you mentioned here. I am currently on vacation but when I get back will go to the hospital for a spinal tap to be 100% sure regarding my situation

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon . How awful being on holiday and contracting this . Bad enough when you're home let alone somewhere else . I wish you a speedy recovery

Hi Chezza. I had BM pneumonia and sepsis 15 months ago. It totally screws your life up and every new twinge or ache sends my brain into overdrive is something going wrong again? It affects us as individuals in different ways and often gps don't know much about it. I've been told it's a case of learning to live with what you are left with. All the best for the future. Be positive 💐
