sorry bcoz i cant speak english fluently, i have a 2 yrs old daughter treat from bacterial meningitis were in our home now i just want to know if theres anything to do after leaving the hospital .

You have clearly been through a terribly worrying and scary time with your beautiful 2 yr old daughter in hospital with the serious Bacterial Meningitis. Although the infection will have resolved she will still be recovering now at home. I am wondering how long she was in hospital for and how she was during that time, was she still awake or in an unconscious sleep? Her recovery will be months rather than days or weeks. She will need more sleep during the day than usual and that is good because sleep lets her body do more recovering. You are likely to find that she is more clingy and wanting the comfort of cuddles more than she used too and maybe more upset and tearful. Has she had her hearing checked by a hearing test because sometimes the hearing can sometimes be damaged by meningitis. It is important that this is done because although she may still be hearing it could be affecting one ear but not both. Have you any worries at the moment about how your daughter is?
