My dad has been in a coma three weeks now after suffering a stroke.its a very stressful time not knowing when he will come back to us.He now has ventilator associated pneumonia due to the long use of ventilators.The doc says they have it under control but they have to wait a bit longer to perform the tracheostomy since his BP is not stable enough.
He has right side reflex movements sometimes.He now squeezes your hand when you ask him to and tries to blink.
Seeing him in such a helpless state really breaks my heart.
Can we have a normal life after this?
