You may have read in the news that the JCVI (body who advises the Government on vaccination), have issued an interim statement saying that the current evidence is insufficient to support a recommendation for the introduction of this vaccine into the childhood immunisation programme. (The MenB vaccine received a licence from the European Medicines Agency back in January)

As you can imagine, we are all extremely disappointed with this news, however the fight for the vaccine will go on.
