Is it normal to have sun sensitivity 3 years after viral meningitis ?

I suffer from headaches after being in the sun which I never had previously - is this to be expected ?

hi pineapple, me again LOL, to factors, heat will bring on headaches, and your temp will rise, and as your brain was cooked the 1st time round with VM, it will be open to it, the same goes if you get sun stroke, you are more likely to get it again, i am afraid to say, its the shade for you, and lots of water to drink

I think both extremes of temperature have that effect for me anyway. I loved the cold and especially the snow and skiing was a joy. I have to keep so very warm now and once cold |I just cant warm up again and get very tired and ill, same with heat and sun... so be careful, keep in the a shade and drink lots as Tiga says... I spent a week in Italy walking in the collonades and never coming out of them except to cross the road! Still I was there and thats what mattered, never thought I would ever travel again, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel eh?
