Folks,

We are exploring next steps since the Keytruda alone has not prevented a second mets from occurring on my husband's leg.

Is there anyone out there who is involved in this clinical trial:

the ongoing phase III KEYNOTE-252/ECHO-301 study is exploring the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of the PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab (Keytruda) with the IDO1 inhibitor epacadostat.

If so, I would appreciate feedback on side effects and experience.

With thanks,

Missy

Thank you. We actually made the decision to stop further treatment for now to go into Watchful Waiting. Even though he is stage 4 there is no detectable melanoma since he had another wide excision 2 weeks ago. It was a challenging decision process, but we feel like we’ve made the best one for us right now. He feels very well, continues working FT and we plan to continue living our lives, looking forward to playing gigs with our band trio, visiting Berlin and Paris in May, and our daughter’s wedding in October

If there is a 4th recurrence we will make another decision. Thank you for checking in on us. Missy
