Anybody know of private ME/CF treatment in North-West?

Hey guys,

So yeah, that's basically my question.

I've been referred to CFS service but my appointment isn't until November. Which may not seem long but I've been going through this now for about 18 months and I really have to get back to work asap.

Ironically, I work for the NHS and it's been a help that I've had 6/6 months full and half pay but my half pay ends in 2 months. My plan is to coincide with that and I really need to start some form of treatment or 'rehab' soon so I am ready to return to work even part time.

Anybody know of any private clinics or hospitals that offer ME/CF treatment in the North west of UK?

There is a private hospital called BREAKSPEAR MEDICAL HOSPITAL in Hemel Hempstead. They may have connections.

I was wheelchair bound with m.e.immune dysfunction and fibromyalgia ... they give treatment I’ve never found elsewhere and I was given immunoglobulin, it was like having Duracell batteries installed ! I was found to be deficient in so much, nhs tests had all been ‘fine’ .

Good luck with any treatment you may find helps you,

Thanks very much friend!

I will check them out. I'm afraid that the NHS 'treatment' being offered won't be much use.

I have an osteopath in Whitefield who specialises in ME/CFS.

If you contact me privately I can forward details. I don't think it's right, (or maybe not even allowed?), to put something on this public platform.

Regards
