What a lovely gift 🎁

[GTFC]

As I set out tonight I just thought to myself, 'Deano, running is a gift.'

Going along the roads in the dark and ice cold, I treated my run with the reverence it deserved. How lucky are we to run? 1 mile or 10, fast or steady it doesn't matter. Running is our gift to ourselves and I'm going to do my best to remember every time I lace up. 🙏

Completely agree! When I started the c25k last January after a long injury, I savoured every minute of running, grateful I was able to run again. I liked your post, it’s a great reminder that we are v lucky to be able to run, and the desire to get out there!

Yes, you make the most of it. Getting back to running after an injury lay off is special 👌. I could only run for 2 minutes every third day but it was golden 🤩

It is! I'm so grateful that I went on the c25k journey and can do something I never felt capable of before. I am not doing any running at the moment but just knowing I can and will is amazing.

Absolutely- I get this every morning when I manage to do a sunrise run - yes I’m slow back of the pack runner - but the pure thrill of being alive in that moment gets me every time 💕💕
