Virtual half marathon (New York)

Thanks for all your good wishes! My school is closed yet again for classes online (new experience for me!) but tomorrow is a day just for me! Running a half around my village (OK, we 're on the coast so I will be running on the beachfront too) will be a challenge. I have run run five half marathons in Valencia and Barcelona and the whole experience was amazing and I finished in 2 hours 24 mins best time. San Sebastián (April) was cancelled and Valencia (October) too but I managed a Madrid Virtual in lockdown here in Spain. Very happy at the time but as I ran over 3 days, it doesn't count for me. Looking forward to a real run tomorrow (New York Liberty Run) to feel like I really did another Half Marathon. However, no support and lack of crowds cheering you on will feel really strange. I hope I can do it!!! Will report back tomorrow evening. Wish me luck.

Best of luck today! I did a virtual HM in June and not having those crowds and support makes it mentally tougher but as IP said, we are all there cheering you on! Can't wait to read your report.
