A close encounter of the deer kind

[Decker]

Not a big run post or anything but on my 10 on Monday, exactly at my turnaround point was this lovely White Tail Deer just munching away with no care whatsoever that myself and a few other people had stopped to take her pic. I even got a short video of her. Seeing nature like this occasionally is part of what makes running so worthwhile for me. Happy trails friends!

Lovely Roger. I've not seen anything as majestic as a deer, but I did rescue a wounded Hedgehog form the road on one of my runs in the Spring!

Yes, it’s a bonus isn’t it. I saw a pair of deer in downtown Cincinatti recently I thought at first that it was a sculpture Absolutely beautiful.

Wow that's awesome Decker. I am hoping to do a new forest trail training run soon which should have wild ponies and hopefully some deer. I wonder if I will be as lucky as you.
