Weekly chat – beige trainers

I confessed yesterday to being the proud owner of a pair of beige running shoes. Here's the evidence. I suppose one could be charitable and call them gold but the colour reminds me of what you get after anything white accidentally strays into a colours wash! Fortunately I don't look at them when I'm running.

Champagne they are then. An odd colour for men's trainers, but at the price I paid I'm not complaining. Thanks for admiring the parquet!

They’re just the same colour as a car I once had - they called it champagne! Really now? 🤔😅

But you’re right, after the euphoria of buying a spanking new pair of trainers and admiring them constantly, once they’re a bit grubby they all look the same

and, as long as they’re comfy, you don’t give them a second glance! 😀

Definitely very comfy. This was definitely a pragmatic purchase – a way of finding out why Saucony has so many admirers at an affordable outlay. They'll look mud/grey colour soon enough, you're right!

Thank you. My first time with Saucony. I have to say they feel incredibly light and comfortable and they helped me take 6 minutes off my 10k time.

As long as they look after your feet. I know the fashion is for bright - what my mother would call 'lairy' trainers - but they look fine to me. Just picked up a new pair myself, will post a picture tomorrow.

I like a Saucony Mine are all quite garish 😁. My most colourful ones were the cheapest. Bargain £28 🙂

It’s because of the colour. Unpopular colours are always cheaper 😁. I don’t mind mint green 🙂
