I've only gone and done it.

After all the excitement of the Brighton Marathon, I have only gone and entered for next year.....eeek.

This is the girl that couldn't run for a minute in June last year.  The one that insisted she would only ever run 5k.

That running bug won't get me....she said.

Hmmmmm, how naive was I.

Excellent great news, you will love it but it is hard work but the crowds and great and its flatish.

Get your self booked into a half october/november time and that will set you on your way good training period! Find a good training programme (i did a myasics one)

and i once said i would never do more then 5k who needs to run more then 3 miles!

My half is already booked. A very hilly one in my home town.

Hill training has commenced.

simple then your have no problem and the course at brighton really isnt that hilly :) but them hills do make you stronger.

i had more problems with the speed bumps after mile 23, but not sure you can prepare for that!

Thanks Poppy.

I'm doing it with a friend that I train with and we have vowed to just go and enjoy it.

Never in a million years did I ever believe I would doing a marathon.

I can remember my first day of couch so well. My little boy laughed at me as I was panting so bad after the first minute.😃

Just goes to show what we can achieve xxx

I am very excited.  I need to start building distance now as I don't have the luxury of following a 10 week training plan due to new job. Xx

Ah Jules, that's brilliant.

To quote Captain Sensible: 🎼🎶"You've got to have a dream. If you don't have a dream, how ya gonna have a dream come true?"🎶

Suspect if you can run all the HM with all the hills, then you'll be absolutely fine for Brighton xx

Thanks Sweetie. Love that song.

Gonna be hard but I can do it if I work hard.

Can't quite believe it, if I'm honest xxx
