fibromyalgia can u claim for dla?: - LUPUS UK
fibromyalgia can u claim for dla?
As with all illnesses it is not a straight yes or no. It comes down to how it affects you and how debilitating it is.
Your best course of action is to see the people at the CAB who will advise you and also help you with complete the necessary forms - which they will also have.
I do not live in the UK now. But I think for anyone to answer that question, you would need to give more information. How badly does. It affect you? How mobile are you? What other conditions do you have and how do they affect you? When were you diagnosed and by whom, your GP or RHummy?
As far as I am aware depending on how severe your condition is, you can make a claim for it. But it seems it is getting very difficult to be awarded assistence and you need to have a lot of supporting evidence. I am sure someone who knows the system in the UK will give you much more assistence than I can. Good luck
if your fibromyalgia is severe enough to give you severe mobility problems and/or you need help caring for yourself then you should be able to get DLA but the criteria are very strict
