Maybe they are turning you into Superwoman....how great would that be, jokes aside, what was the xray for? And if I am being to nosey, then sorry in advance...
hi, nah you not bein nosey, am a pretty open book...back in 97 when i had an almost fatal sle flare i had large doses of iv steroids, which resulted in my hips getting replaced in 01..recent regular xray showed they are wearing out so i gonna need them re doin in the next few months...the xray was one where the inject radioactive isotropes into me then take the xrays 3 hours later to show blood supply and daage more clearly than with a basic xray..its a bit crap am in pain constantly at the moment, and although i recently started seein someone i am effectively a single mum, and i worry about the effect this has on them...esp when my 14 yr old finds me sobbing in the bathroom
as for superwoman thing, some ppl i know would say i am, but personaly i would say i am defo just human, and have days where i hate everything about my life, i hate bein 32 and unable to put socks on without bein in pain, and not being able to go out dancin like i used to be able to, or take kids out for day, without limiting thier fun because of my problems...had a breif look at your profile, seems you not exactly had it easy either..lupus (and other 'invisible' illnesses ) are evil, and i feel for anyone who suffers with them
