pain
Might be sciatica..have you seen your gp? I've suffered from it for years, it has nothing to do with Lupus, and I have Tramadol to take when I need it, paracetamol as well but they dont touch it like tramadol does...
Hope they can get it sorted and some treatment for you...let us know how you get on?
hi chris, went to yhe docs 2day she thinks muscel pain just and is sendin 2 physio which i cant see helpin but hey i will give it a go, just wish my consultant would get his finger out and get me a earlier app lol
Well worth seeing them you've nothing to lose...I saw a community physio in 2005 and she was a great help..I'm managing the pain much better these days....wish you well x
Are you UK? Our care is under the NHS here, doesnt cost me anything...
Hi I have suffered with sciatica for a few years too (also separate from the lupus). My rheumy hasn't treated it and to be honest I haven't or forget to mention it all the time, but may be worth getting a referral, I know I should too... Ive been recently seeing an osteopath privately to help with the sciatica and other back pain only (not to treat the lupus), and I think it is going ok so far although i need a few more sessions to really see the effects.
Osteopathy may or may not help you and can be expensive (I have med insurance which pays for it otherwise I couldnt afford),, so you would need to find a good osteopath who also knows of/understands lupus or other conditions you have to avoid any possible aggravation which could cause a flare up.
Its best to wait for your results and hopefully they can find a solution or refer you to someone who can help.
