Does anyone have any experience with either Dewsbury hospital or Huddersfields new rheumatology consultant.

Have moved areas and wondered if i was better off moving to Dewsbury as havnt seen the new doc at huddersfield yet and not sure how good she is.

Hi I go to Huddersfield and I've seen the new consultant once. For the past couple of years I seem to have seen someone different every time I went which is no good so hopefully this will improve now they have someone permanent. She was really nice and took everything seriously, I havent been doing brilliantly so she's changing my meds etc to try sort me out which is more than most of the others did so I like her so far but I have no idea about Dewsbury. Thank you, thats really helpful, I was moved to halifax temporarily after Dr Reece left,(who I really liked) and have not seen a doctor the whole time I have been there (was under Dr Fernandez but have never met her) even when she prescribed a six month course of cyclophosphamide infusions, only ever seen the nurses, which I dont really think is right as it's getting on for two years now. I must admit I was a bit nervous about what the new consultant would be like, but now I have your comments, I will stick with Huddersfield and see how things go. Thank you so much.
