Hi, has anyone experienced, continual headaches, which feels like a tight band around the head, and continual thudding noise, (pulse) which is worse at night, and occasional giddiness when I stand up.
I am also experiencing numbness in thumb and forefinger, which can cause the sensation of severe burning. My feet are effected too, (big toe and adjoining toe.)
I have degeneration in my neck and lower back, it has been suggested that I may have a trapped nerve in my neck which could be the cause.
This has been going on for a few months now and it is very draining.
Thank you for reading, and any advice would be gladly received.
Best wishes Sandy

Hi Frog, I recently had similar symptoms from a cubital tunnel syndrome (like carpel tunnel, but in the elbow rather than the wrist), except it was in the pinkie and ring finger which comes from the ulnar nerve. So yours might be a different nerve that affects the index finger and thumb. Best thing I did was got an ultrasound on my elbow to find out what was happening with the nerves. I also got scans on my back to make sure there were no pinched nerves there.
I get pounding headaches all the time, they are worse when I bend or lean over. I believe this is from TMJ, which requires surgery, so the headaches are a bit of a marker for me in terms of deterioration. I also have chronic dizziness, but that’s from a separate condition: Mal de Debarquement syndrome. A little nighttime reading for you if you’re interested!
All the best—I hope you get to the bottom of whatever this is!
Yes I do. I get tingling scalp and tinnitus with it too. And my face feels odd, almost numb patches. For me this is a warning sign of a flare It's time to slow down and rest. I'm getting better at recognising this.
Thank you for your reply, it has be rather hectic lately, but this has been going on for a few months, I just hope it will magically go away. (Fingers crossed) take care, best wishes Sandy.
